Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Deployable Manager, Industrial Security (level -1) for a rotational OCONUS position based out of Edwards, Ca.
The Industrial Security Manager will develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
Conducts security education classes and security audits.
Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate technical discipline and 6 years of specialized experience OR 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal education.
Must be a US citizen and hold a minimum active DoD Secret security clearance.
Must have and maintain a valid U.
S.
passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 180 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements and meet medical requirements and vaccinations for worldwide travel.
Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.
Have the ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission is a condition of employment.
Must have experience establishing team procedures, managing training programs, developing checklists, and determining certification requirements.
Must have experience with conventional standards, manage inspection cycles.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills dealing with upper-level management are required for the position.
Must have in-depth knowledge of and experience with the DoD Special Access Program Security Manuals, ICDs and JSIG Familiarity with the policies and procedures for classified document marking, protection, storage, transmittal, and destruction Must be able to work closely with government customers, security counterparts, and Program Directors, to ensure successful execution of program activity Ability to perform daily tasks with minimal oversight and problem solve in an efficient, security-minded manner, while recognizing when to defer to management Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate technical discipline and 8+ years of specialized experience NGSkills Salary Range: $104,600 - $156,800 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
