JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.
S.
Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II.
JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION In this pivotal leadership role, the selected incumbent will act as the fulcrum of expertise, strategically orchestrating the intricate functionalities of multiple specialized units - encompassing the JT4 Communications Center (COMM), Transport, Advanced Range Datalink Systems (ARDS), Video Control Center (VCC) and Combined Test Force (CTF) onsite and remote support.
This position requires an incumbent capable of harmonizing diverse technical domains to culminate in organizational excellence.
The incumbent is expected to be versatile in various technological disciplines and agile in adopting, adapting, leveraging, and integrating emerging technologies and methodologies.
Detailed Responsibilities: Employ unparalleled knowledge overseeing the activities Communication Center, ensuring the seamless integration and optimal functionality of voice and data networks.
Promote seamless coordination and collaboration among Range departments, team members, and the CTF support team to achieve mission objectives.
To fortify Range-to-Range connectivity and enhance operational efficacy while demonstrating mastery in managing sophisticated Range infrastructure and its various sub-systems and components, including technologies associated with RDATS, NGDATS, and Haivision.
After Hour coordination and support of the Video Control Center Team, focusing on sophisticated video capturing, video processing, and video display within various implementations of mission control environments.
Efficiently allocate resources and tasks, establish and upkeep standard operating procedures (SOPs) for mission support activities, and foster collaboration with external stakeholders to optimize After Hours and CTF mission support efforts and timelines.
Uphold and implement best practices associated with data encryption and protection protocols, safeguarding the integrity of sensitive information and Range assets.
Provide guidance to Advanced Range Datalink Systems (ARDS) by strategically integrating technologies such as ARDS, CRISS, and related technologies.
Display proficiency in guiding the Transport Team, emphasizing rigorous testing, maintenance, and sustainment of mission- critical systems and equipment.
Apply advanced systems engineering methodologies while adhering to the Range ECR/CCR process and facilitate seamless system transitions and turnovers.
Ensure compliance with RMF and ATO protocols while employing advanced cybersecurity strategies to fortify Ranges systems, equipment, and assets.
Oversee comprehensive equipment management practices, ensuring sustained operational readiness and longevity.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE The incumbent must possess a base of knowledge sufficient to oversee the performance of technically diverse tasks assigned to the Shop.
Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interface with and effectively direct subordinates.
Must have an in-depth working knowledge of the technical concepts, principles and requirements associated with the work unit.
Must have a practical knowledge of company policies, procedures and practices sufficient to perform as an effective supervisor.
This knowledge and these skills may be obtained by graduating from a two to four year technical institute or college, or possess equivalent formal technical training or military equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in a directly related technical working environment, including 2 or more years as a supervisor.
The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
Must have and maintain a security clearance.
Must be a U.
S.
citizen.
SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $78,915 to $104,000 annually.

There is occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness.
The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
Duties are performed both indoors and outdoors.
Outdoor duties may be performed on even or uneven surfaces, which may be dry or wet.
Outdoor duties may be performed on gravel, or shingled roof.
Climbing stairs, ladders, towers and scaffolds, indoors or outdoors is required.
Government vehicle is used on an as needed basis.
Grease or oil may be found on working surfaces.
Ability to work in a field environment with some shift work, at remote locations with occasional overnight assignments.
Travel to remote working locations required.

If working in a training capacity, employees must be supervised at all times by a competent trained or certified company employee.
Under no circumstances should employees use other employee's equipment without permission from their immediate supervisor or manager.
Conversely, employees should not allow other JT4 employees or employees of another employer to use JT4 owned or assigned equipment without proof of training and approval of the shop manager.
