The position of Program Supervisor will pay $85,000 annually.

Learn more about your job: Under general supervision, the Program Supervisor I is responsible for a community-based prevention effort for at-risk families.
The Program Supervisor I is responsible for a less complex prevention program, generally involving program budget, and managing up to six full-time employees.
They will provide supervision of home visitors.
Supervisory sessions will include administrative, clinical, and reflective supervisory practices.
Must have knowledge of normal fetal, infant and toddler development, prenatal and child health requirements; and early childhood education best practices.
Should have familiarity with the effects of domestic violence and parental alcohol or substance abuse on family health, parenting and general functioning.
Duties and Responsibilities Provides general supervision to staff assigned to program or function, including recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluation, discipline, etc.
Implements all assigned program requirements, ensuring and contractual obligations are met, including required reports.
Maintains positive external contacts related to program, including collaborative partners, community organizations.
Assists in program management activities such as planning, staffing, budget, and program development.
Has overall responsibility for all contractually required documentation, Conducts and/oversees activities related to Continuous Quality Improvement.
Identifies potential problems with program of function and develops possible solutions, obtaining appropriate approvals when necessary Assists in program evaluation.
Performs community outreach through public speaking or other contact.
Depending on program may provide clinical supervision to clinical staff or may provide direct service to client.
Keep Program Manager informed regarding status of program.
General Maintains confidentiality in matters of agency operations, personnel, and clients.
Maintains positive communications with all agency staff, clients, and visitors.
Exercises good judgement in performance of duties and responsibilities Supports existing agency policies, principles, and mission.
Other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: Must have the following; A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a current license from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or a licensed Psychologist A Master's degree, from an accredited four-year college or university, depending on the program requirements or related fields, master's in social work preferred.
Two to four years direct service experience with preferred experience in child welfare, family engagement, community collaboration, and/or early childhood development.
One or more years of management or supervisory experience Experience working with families from diverse ages, cultural ethnic backgrounds, and communities.
Ability to asses families across a broad spectrum of areas, recognizing professional boundaries and the need for consultation from other disciplines.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in basis computer programs such as word, excel, email, and outlook.
Empathy, warmth and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
