Position Description
Multiband Global s seeking a Senior Service Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to have a significant role in the success and growth.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and expertise with servicing and installing physical security systems including access control, CCTV, intercom, and intrusion detection.
Candidates that also possess fire-alarm and Audio-Visual systems experience will be prioritized.
Position Requirements
Required skills include:
Must possess a strong commitment to customer service and an enthusiastic demeanor
Advanced troubleshooting skills required
High level of technical expertise in many access-control and video-surveillance systems
Minimum, 3 years of experience troubleshooting large enterprise systems.
Minimum, 3 years of additional experience installing large enterprise systems.
Very strong knowledge of Bosch, DMP, and Honeywell.
Knowledge of Genetec, Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, and S2 access control.
Familiarity with basic networking and electrical equipment including related materials and specifications.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
Must be able to work flexible hours and days with the understanding that workdays can be more than normal hours and some weekend and holiday work may be required
Must have a valid Driver’s license
Must be able to pass a criminal background, drug screening, and DMV background check
Key Competencies:
Provide system testing, troubleshooting, and repair expertise on enterprise-level systems.
Troubleshoot hardware and cabling.
Installation and configuration of electronic security hardware and software.
Clear and professional communication skills
Identifying and recommending additional equipment and services based on customer needs
Develop and conduct on-site user and administrative training
Verification of proper device installation and testing of equipment
Inventory management and accuracy
Certifications Preferred:
Avigilon ACC/ACM - Preferred
Bosch - Preferred
DMP Access/Burg - Preferred
Honeywell Vista/Prowatch - Preferred
Software House LVL 3/C Cure - Preferred
