YOUR IMPACT You will be able to take your passion for airplanes and experience as an embedded software engineer and use it to help develop mission management and navigation software.
The responsibilities for this role will include: - software development spanning the avionics services and mission management services - supporting ground station development for manned and unmanned systems - working closely with systems engineers and cross functional teams to development software requirements - working closely with cross functional teams to develop software to meet defined software requirements - developing and executing test procedures supporting software and system integration and software and system verification activities using desktop and hardware in the loop testing venues - analyzing captured data to assess software and system performance and identifying and correcting anomalies This position offers a motivated engineer the opportunity to have a high impact on a productive program as they grow their own skillset.
Travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college in a relevant field of study; or equivalent experience • Experience with C and/or C++ • Experience with Linux or RTOS (real time operating systems) and associated development toolchains • Experience with embedded software development • Experience with the software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking) • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Must be a US citizen.
This position requires special access and a Secret clearance to be considered.
