Salary Range: $79,040 - $100,320
Seeking a Software Engineer to join an existing team that supports several F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft software projects.
Projects are multi-year efforts, in support of the USN and FMS customers.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform requirements analysis and functional allocation, implement allocated requirements through software design, code, developer test, and test support.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve reported software anomalies.
Works closely with the Program Manager and Chief Engineer to design and implement software requirements and solutions.
Designs, develops, and implements computer software systems; provides and supports structured process improvement activities.
Performs verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis on various projects.
Responsible for the software design, quality, and performance meeting program requirements and customer expectations.
Participate in product inspections through each phase of the software lifecycle.
Participate in process improvement activities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering is required; however other disciplines, such as Electronic Engineer, with strong software experience will be considered with 3 years of relevant experience.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to work as part of a Scrum team.
Skills should include some of the following: C++, C#, Perl, Python, UML Modeling.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Atlassian, Git, Visual Studio, VAPS, VxWorks, Integrity, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience and/or knowledge in some of the following areas: Test Driven Development (TDD), Agile Scrum, SAFe, MiIL-STD-1553B, Real Time Operating systems, Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, tactical data links (VMF, Link-16, Tadil-J), Aircraft Navigation/Communication, MIL-STD-1760 (Weapons), Mission Planning Systems, and Tactical RADARs.
