JOB SUMMARY The Enrollment Assistant - DOORS reports to the Assistant Director of Workforce Development and is accountable for onboarding participants who are interested in enrolling in the DOORS AV program while providing administrative support to the Enrollment Team.
This position requires an understanding of the needs of participants and will, at times, act as a liaison between participants, faculty, and administrators.
The Enrollment Assistant provides prospective participants with the information necessary to make an informed decision about enrollment, reviews documents as necessary, and communicates enrollment procedures.
The Enrollment Assistant formulates a successful follow-up strategy that encourages prospective participants to enroll in our program and other educational institutions.
This position is a part-time temporary hybrid position in the Antelope Valley.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Online Enrollment Process enrollments Enter enrollments into the CHAMPS database and Apricot Database Provide participant support with technology Create participant files Respond to enrollment inquiries via telephone/email/texts Correspond with LA County JCOD and JCOD partners for enrollment purposes Provide accurate and timely enrollment forecasts as needed Screen new enrollment participants to ensure they are eligible for the program Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills are required Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database usage Able to maintain strict confidentiality and take all precautions when handling sensitive information Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE High School Diploma Prior administrative experience, preferably in non-profit settings, preferred Customer service experience preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS To promote the health and safety of its employees, those we serve and our local communities, Five Keys requires that all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and/or adhere to all weekly testing and safety measures.
