Academic Tutor

A Better Tomorrow Education is seeking qualified individuals residing in Palmdale/Lancaster, California who can assist students in high school ELA, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Statistics.
Tutors will be required to service students in local public libraries.
Availability can be M-F after school or weekends based on tutor's availability.
Pay is monthly.
Responsibilities * Tutors will be responsible for providing students with assistance such as helping children understand concepts and completing assignments.
All materials and student curriculum will be provided to our tutors by A Better Tomorrow Education.
* Tutors will be responsible for instructing lessons to students on a one to one ratio.
* Tutors must provide students with positive and constructive feedback when appropriate.
* Tutors will be responsible for taking daily student attendance and completing monthly progress reports per student.
Requirements * General knowledge of high school level English Language Arts and Mathematics.
* Experience working in educational field is appreciated, but not required.
* Ability to pass a LiveScan.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: From $18.
