Facility Manager
Description:
The Facility Manager plays a central role in maintaining an environment of love and safety for youth who have been trafficked or experienced other traumatic forms of abuse.
The Facility Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the ZOE Home for Youth and provide supervision for the Youth Specialist (direct care staff) and the youth.
When the STRTP Administrator is absent, the Facility Manager shall be the designated substitute.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of ZHY’s STRTP.
Supervise the direct care staff, ensuring appropriate care and supervision is provided to children in accordance with applicable law, licensing regulations, and ZHY’s policies.
Supervise children, as needed.
Oversee the planned activities required to be available to children.
Ensure the general upkeep of ZHY.
Report to the STRTP Administrator and make recommendations to address identified problems.
Any other duties that may be necessary to manage ZHY.
Requirements: (Applicants must meet one or more of the following requirement categories.
)
Bachelor’s degree
2 years full time experience, or its equivalent, working with the population to be served, or equivalent education or experience, as determined by CDSS.
Experience shall be verified as having been performed as a paid or volunteer staff person whose duties required direct supervision and care of the population served.
2 years experience as a member of the social work staff in a group home or STRTP
Other Requirements:
Ability to provide effective trauma-informed care for youth
Excellent interpersonal skills (empathy, listening skills, and verbal communication skills)
Good written communication skills
Ability to solve problems in a collaborative manner
Ability to engage and develop a rapport with youth from various backgrounds
Ability to provide consistency and behavioral limits through relationship-based interventions
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Valid California Driver’s license and a good driving record (Department of Motor Vehicle printout required.

Flexibility
Good physical health to perform duties including standing and walking for long periods, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
(Good health must be verified by a physician or physician-supervised medical professional and must include a tuberculosis screening that is given not more than one year prior to employment or seven days after the first day of employment and is repeated annually thereafter.

Criminal record clearance
Minimum age of 21 years
Willingness to sign and adhere to ZOE International’s Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy, and other policies and procedures

Verbal fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
