• The position oversees and proactively manages X-ray, CT, UT and other NDI equipment.
• Heavy involvement in capital request development and procurement.

• Manages travel of employees to support NDI needs at multiple locations.
• Creates Basis of Estimates (BOE) for contracts and supports negotiations through award of contract.
• Responsible for budgetary tracking and adherence.
Will lead discussions and issue resolution between Engineering/Procurement/Production and other Enterprise organizations.
• Creates and conducts presentations to top levels of management for the Palmdale site.
• Must be a US Citizen.
This position supports a facility that requires special access.
• Active SECRET clearance with investigation within last 5 years.

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a STEM degree, and 10 years of professional experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in NDT/NDI.
• Experience leading teams, either in a formal leadership position or in a team lead role.
• Prior responsibility developing and tracking budget.
• Quality Experience - either in a quality organization or with significant exposure to quality processes • Aerospace structures experience.
• Ability to travel • MS Office skills - PowerPoint, Excel Desired Skills: • Airframe NDT experience.
• Prior certification in two or more NDT methods.
• Prior supervisory experience in a salaried and represented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with government customers.
• Experience developing capital equipment requests and managing the effort through approval and procurement • Experience developing BOE through negotiation and contract award.
• Black Belt/Green Belt/Lean Thinking training with demonstrated project implementation.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
