Essential Job Duties:
Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services the Sr.
ER Technician is responsible to administer patient care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Follows the plan of care set by the registered nurse and/or physician, managing the individual needs of the patient with regards to their age and clinical diagnosis.
Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties in the Emergency Department in order to ensure and maintaining smooth patient flow.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
High School Graduate or equivilent
One year experience in an acute care setting preferred
Current CA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or LVN Blood withdrawal certification required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association
CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
EMT, CNA or Medical Assistant required –OR- Currently enrolled in RN program with successful completion of 2 semesters of clinical coursework.
Basic dysrhythmia certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
