Reporting directly to the Site Quality Manager, you will lead the Sealants Quality Lab, ensuring that our processes meet and exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities: - Maintain rigorous compliance with quality control systems in aerospace sealants and analytical lab operations in Mojave - Conduct comprehensive product testing in alignment with customer specifications and industry standards, including Nadcap and AS9100 - Collaborate with lab and manufacturing personnel to adjust production batches and resolve quality issues - Establish quality assurance procedures to uphold high standards of product quality and reliability - Lead a dynamic team of chemists and technicians in the sealants and analytical labs - Investigate and address quality complaints, identifying causes and implementing corrective actions, including process improvements to enhance alignment with customer and production needs - Define quality requirements based on current customer specifications, regulations, and accreditations - Promote personal and departmental responsibility for quality, contributing to the delivery of quality awareness and skills training programs - Collaborate in developing an organization-wide, prevention-oriented quality program - Contribute to the establishment and monitoring of quality improvement projects, overseeing multifunctional project teams Qualifications: *Sealants Quality Lab Manager* - Minimum of five (5) years of quality-related experience in manufacturing, research, or a similar environment, along with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience - Preferred knowledge of PPG sealant products, their application in the field, and their testing and manufacturing processes - Preferred five (5) years of management, supervisory, or lead experience - Familiarity with aerospace coatings or sealants manufacturing is a plus - Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Must be a U.
