Project Engineer

Delta Scientific is looking for a motivated self-starter to join the engineering team to design Anti-Terrorist Vehicle Barricade Systems.
Candidate should have an understanding of engineering and production processes and procedures.
Ideal candidates will display an ability to identify any problems that arise and perform the actions needed to fix them.
Candidate should be well versed in SolidWorks.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Working between engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure products are manufactured to quality standards, client’s specifications, and project timelines; support engineering team through various means.
* Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
* Create drawings used in design and construction Experience in any the following is required: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
* Organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
* High level of creativity * Minimum 3-5 years AutoCAD or Solidworks experience * Engineering degree is preferred.
* Experience with mechanical or hydraulic/pneumatic systems is helpful.
* Must be able to work with a team to achieve a common goal with quickly changing job duties daily.
