A strong government construction background
OSHA 30 hr.
certificate
Corps of Engineers QC certified a plus
Proficiency in prioritizing, scheduling and deadline management
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow company standards
Eligibility for employment in the United States and have the ability to pass a Federal Government background security check.
Plan, direct, inspect and supervise all work on project site.
Create a culture for safety and quality and enforce all requirements.
Coordinate with the Project Manager prior to the start of the project to understand bid proposal and contract buyout for subcontractors.
Understand the budget process.
Assist the Project Manager and Project Scheduler in the development and maintenance of the project schedule.
Develop and enforce short interval schedule.
Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure schedule performance is met.
Have a complete and comprehensive understanding of the scope of work, project specifications and drawings.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of subcontractor's scope of work and responsibilities.
Have a physical presence on site and inspect all work activities throughout the day to ensure compliance.
Produce a daily report documenting all pertinent information and progress for the project.
Ensure all work on the project site is done safely and in accordance with the project Safety Plan.
Conduct “Tool Box” safety and health sessions at least weekly for all employees at the work site.
Coordinate with QCM regarding submittals, independent testing requirements, preparatory meetings and any other requirements of the project Quality Control Plan.
Conduct weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors to effectively plan, schedule and manage the work.
