This position is in Edwards AFB, CA.
You will receive, store, and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices.
Maintain records of tools issued to employees; take periodic inventory and requisition stock as needed; report damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database.
You will also clean, oil, and perform minor repairs on equipment; dispose of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedure.
Ensure that measuring devices are periodically calibrated.
Provide support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
Determine maintenance and repair materials required for additional effort.
Modify maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components.
You will develop requisitions for, and manage records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; review configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; document equipment, component and parts conditions; and identify logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.
NGSkills Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education or related experience.
Excellent knowledge of tools and their intended use, tool accountability, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and Safety programs.
Ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.

Accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 90 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and immunizations that may include anthrax and smallpox.
Must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.
A current Secret DoD clearance with ability to maintain that clearance.
Ability to obtain and retain Special Program access as a condition of employment within 365 days of submission.
Preferred Qualifications: Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Familiarization with tool accountability system TCMAX.
Good understanding of Hazardous material processes and procedures in conjunction with maintaining re-stock points of PEB, bench/shop stock and consumables.
Salary Range: $44,600 - $74,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
