JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.
S.
Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II.
JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES A Systems Administrator provides technical support related to the installation, maintenance, configuration, and repair for servers, networks, and other computer systems they are responsible for.
The Systems Administrator III will perform the following functions/duties: Perform daily operations of MS Windows server software, ensuring system security, access appropriateness, configuration, and systematic backups Specify network requirements, monitor LAN performance, troubleshoot networking hardware, and verify system functionality according to specified parameters Organize and secure directory structures, providing assistance and training to staff members in the utilization of the department's Document Management System, associated databases, and CM/DM release procedures Specify hardware requirements and generate a Computer Authorization and Custodial Receipt Listing (CA/CRL) to track equipment configurations and identification logs Act as the point of contact for problem reporting, incremental version updates, and monitoring yearly support contracts Make recommendations for future hardware/software implementations and related process improvements, scheduling, planning, and executing system upgrades across design, test, production, and documentation environments Attend and administer briefings on the operational status of systems as required Utilize established policies, procedures, and subject matter knowledge to complete complex assignments requiring originality and ingenuity, performed with minimum supervision and considerable latitude for independent contribution Utilize knowledge to create, configure, and manage virtual machines Candidate must be able to acquire and maintain a CompTIA Security+ certification within six months of employment.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE Associate's or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training.
Possess 7 years related experience or combination of experience in computer system basics and/or related areas of expertise.
Must possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
Must have specific experience in the use of MS window server environments and various CAD/CAM, database, MS Office and Web enabled applications.
The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
Employee is expected to routinely cross fields in the completion of somewhat difficult and varied assignments.
Must be capable of updating or repairing computer systems.
The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Must be a U.
S.
citizen.
SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $69,409 to $114,129 annually.
Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay.
JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards.
There is occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness.
